Prior to kickoff or a match, the "Green Gators" gather close to the midfield.  Bound together in a single line, they face the opposing team and do a chant to intimidate them...  It is the "Ooga Booga."

This chant was started during the 1981-1982 season.  Two of the originators of the chant were Mark 'Bagger' Schell '82 and Tom Bresslin, both of whom recently passed away.  -- Chris Coughlin (President, JCURFC '83)
